Spanish-Language Festival | Athens | June 8-16
The Festival of Spanish Language Films returns to Athens on June 8-16 this year, bringing 15 first releases to the Greek Film Archive's open-air Lais cinema. Selections include “Contratiempo,” an action thriller by Oriol Paulo about a businessman framed for murder, two-time Goya award nominee “La Puerta Abierta” about a prostitute looking for happiness, and “El Amparo,” a drama-thriller based on true events about an incident on the Venezuela-Colombia border that sees two men accused of an armed attack. Tickets for each screening cost 7 euros and pass for the entire festival costs 40 euros.
