Architecture & Tourism | Samos | May 31 & June 16
The Schwarz Foundation presents two events this summer on the relationship between architecture and the environment and tourism and cultural and infrastructure development. The two lectures are aimed at people involved in tourism on the island of Samos and those who wish to share their ideas, suggestions and perspectives on the issues of development, aesthetics and ways of exploiting the multiple possibilities which exist on the island.
The first lecture, on May 31, will be by journalist Maya Tsoclis on aesthetics as a tourism development tool. The second, on June 16, will be delivered by architect George Triantafillou and will focus on the relationship between limited architecture and contemporary art.
The lectures will take place at the Art Space Pythagorion in the village of Pythagorio. For details, contact Chara Zuma on tel 210.322.4765 or [email protected].
