Giselle | Athens | December 16-31

The Greek National Opera presents popular ballet “Giselle,” with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Irek Mukhamedov and Marius Petipa. Performances take place at the Olympia Theater on December 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31. Shows start at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. on December 31). Alternating in the role of Giselle are dancers Mayu Tanigaito, Evridiki Isaakidou, Christina Makridou, Maria Kousouni and Eleana Andreoudi. Admission ranges from 15 to 45 euros. Tickets are on sale at the theater’s box office.
