The Athens Concert Hall is hosting a live broadcast of Richard Wagner’s “Tristan and Isolde” from New York’s Metropolitan Opera on Saturday, October 8. The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra is led by Sir Simon Rattle while the cast features Nina Stemme (Isolde), Ekaterina Gubanova (Brangane), Stuart Skelton (Tristan), Evgeny Nikitin (Kurwenal) and Rene Pape (King Marke). With Greek subtitles. The screening is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Admission is set at 25 euros (20 euros for students). The live broadcast will also take place at the Piraeus Municipal Theater at the same time, with admission ranging from 18 to 25 euros (12 euros for students).
