Lysistrata | Epidaurus | August 5-6

Michail Marmarinos directs Aristophanes’ “Lysistrata” at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus on Friday, August 5, and Saturday, August 6. The Greek National Theater production features a cast led by Lena Kitsopoulou. Performances are in English surtitles and start at 9 p.m. Admission ranges from 8 to 45 euros. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online at www.viva.gr as well as at the festival’s box offices at 39 Panepistimiou St, inside the arcade (open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagitou St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
