Sarah Kane Tribute | Athens | July 8-9
Greek director Yannis Kakleas and the Citizens Kane company present a seven-hour production dedicated to the world of Sarah Kane at the Pireos 260 venue in Tavros, south of central Athens, on Friday, July 8, and Saturday, July 9. Performances begin after midnight and are based on music, images, dance and works by the late British playwright. The shows are part of this year’s Greek Festival. Admission ranges from 5 to 20 euros. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online as well as at the festival’s box offices at 39 Panepistimiou St, inside the arcade (open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagitou St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. daily).
