Lucien Herve | Athens | To May 29

The Benaki Museum’s Pireos Street annex presents “Lucien Herve: The Summertime of Monsieur Le Corbusier,” an exhibition of photographs that takes the viewer back to the summer of 1952 when acclaimed architect Le Corbusier designed a wooden hut, the Cabanon, on a Cote d’Azur beach. Besides Herve’s photographs, the show also presents sketches by Le Corbusier, correspondences and a reconstruction of the Cabanon. The latter was part of a teaching program at the National Technical University of Athens’s School of Architecture. The display runs through May 29.
