The Athens Concert Hall will screen a live broadcast of Gaetano Donizetti's “Roberto Devereux” from the Metropolitan Opera in New York on Saturday, April 16. The Italian opera will by accompanied on screen by Greek subtitles. Directed by Sir David McVicar, the production features Sondra Radvanovsky in the role of Elisabetta, Elina Garanca as Sara, Matthew Polenzani as Roberto Devereux and Mariusz Kwiecien as the Duke of Nottingham. Starts at 7.55 p.m. and admission costs 25 euros (20 euros for students).
