Adopt a Stray | Athens | April 3

Citizens’ group Atenistas is organizing a stray dog adoption event at Klathmonos Square in central Athens on Sunday, April 3. Dozens of pooches that currently live at animal shelters will be available for adoption from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those who make the decision to adopt a stray will also be given six months’ worth of free dog food. The adoption day is taking place with the support of the City of Athens Cultural, Sports and Youth Organization.
