Italy’s Luca Ciarla, whose range on the violin and electronic gadgetry embraces improvisation, traditional and contemporary sounds, pays tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach in a performance of some of the German composer’s most celebrated works rearranged with a contemporary spin at the Athens Concert Hall on Tuesday, January 26. Also on the evening’s program are works by Ciarla himself, Villa-Lobos and Piazzolla. The concert is taking place in association with the Italian Cultural Institute in Athens. Starts at 8.30 p.m. Admission ranges from 8 to 20 euros (5 euros reduced).
