Sokratis Sinopoulos Quartet | Athens | October 24

Constantinopolitan lyre soloist Sokratis Sinopoulos and his quartet will perform works from Sinopoulos’s recently released album, “Eight Winds,” at the Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, on Saturday, October 24. Besides Sinopoulos, the ensemble features Yiannis Kirimkiridis on piano, Dimitris Tsekouras on bass and Dimitris Emmanouil on drums. Starts at 8.30 p.m. A discussion with Sinopoulos, chaired by Christos Carras, general director and artistic director of music at the OCC, will follow the concert. Full-priced tickets range from 10 to 28 euros.
