China Philharmonic Orchestra | Athens | August 19
The China Philharmonic Orchestra performs at the Herod Atticus Theater on Wednesday, August 19, as part of its “Silk Road” tour. Led by Long Yu, the orchestra performs Alexander Borodin’s “Polovtsian Dances” from the opera “Prince Igor,” and Antonin Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony. Also on the evening’s program is He Zhanhao and Chen Gang’s “Butterfly Lovers' Violin Concerto.” The concert is set to start at 9 p.m. Tickets range from 10 to 35 euros.
