Electronic producer and composer Matthew Barnes, aka Forest Swords, returns with his long-awaited new single “Butterfly Effect.” Part industrial electronica, part bleak greyscale pop, with “Butterfly Effect,” Forest Swords’ world shifts deeper into murkier musical territory, with a previously unheard vocal sample by the singer-songwriter Neneh Cherry.
