Seizure of the Parthenon sculptures
The Society for the Study of Greek History has just published «The Seizure of the Parthenon Sculptures: An account of the Terrible Destruction of that Famous Monument» by historian Antonios Miliarakis, with an introduction by H.E. Koukkou. The book will be sent to all British MPs and other international personalities. Miliarakis, who was born in Athens in 1881 and died in 1905, was a stenographer in the Greek Parliament, first while still a law student and then on a permanent basis after graduating.
