Nicole Kidman to join the cast of new Yorgos Lanthimos film
Hollywood heavyweight Nicole Kidman was expected to join Irish film star Colin Farrell on the set of “The Killing of a Sacred Deer,” a new film by Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, US media reported.
According to industry sources, the film follows a successful surgeon (Farrell) who tries to bring a sinister teenager into his family. Kidman was expected to play his wife, while shooting was set to start in August.
Reports further noted that Lanthimos was also developing a historical drama exploring the reign of Britain’s Queen Anne, starring Emma Stone.
