Constantinos Tsoukalas to head Hellenic Foundation for Culture
Former SYRIZA MP Constantinos Tsoukalas was appointed president of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture board of directors on Thursday. Tsoukalas is a sociologist and university professor.
His appointment was approved by a Parliamentary committee on Thursday with the support of ruling SYRIZA and junior coalition partner Independent Greeks deputies.
Founded in 1992, the organization aims to promote the Greek language and the country’s culture.
