Giorgis Xylouris, son of Nikos Xylouris, dies in road accident

Giorgis Xylouris, son of late Cretan singer-songwriter Nikos Xylouris, died on Thursday of injuries he sustained in a road accident on the same day.

According to cretapost.gr, the accident occurred on the Athens-Lamia highway near Nea Kifissia, when Xylouris's motorcycle collided with a taxi.

Xylouris, 55, was a radio producer and co-owned the Nikos Xylouris music store in Athens with his mother.
