Man found dead in Thessaloniki apartment

A 49-year-old man was found dead late Sunday night inside his apartment in the district of Evosmos, of the northern city of Thessaloniki.

His body was discovered in a pool of blood by a relative who called the police.

Initial forensic findings show that the man bore neck injuries, possibly from a sharp object;

The police is investigating the case as a possible homicide.
