The father and sister of 29-year-old policeman Stathis Lazaridis embrace at Iraklion airport yesterday. Lazaridis was shot in the head during a botched raid by police on suspected drug dealers in the mountainous Cretan village of Zoniana last November. He was transferred by military airplane yesterday to a special rehabilitation center in Jerusalem that specializes in helping people recover from severe injuries.
