Protesting music school students and teachers...

Dimitris Balaskas/ANA

Protesting music school students and teachers are reflected in a trumpet in the Thessaloniki district of Pylaia yesterday. Protest rallies were held all over the country with the aim of drawing attention to the problems faced by music schools, including a shortage of staff and a lack of books and musical equipment. As a result of the shortfalls, students have had their classes cut short or have been obliged to practice their instruments in the schoolyard. A similar protest was held in Athens, outside Parliament.
