Stefanidi nominated Europe’s best female athlete
Katerina Stefanidi, Greece’s pole vault master and owner of all major outdoor titles, was on Saturday nominated female Athlete of the Year by the European Athletic Association. The award ceremony will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, on October 26. Stefanidi won the title in 2017. [EPA]
