Notaries call off strike after four months
The coordinating body of the association of notaries’ unions said in a statement on Monday that notaries would suspend their ongoing strike and return to work on Tuesday.
Notaries had been on strike since January to protest increased social security contributions as part of the government’s pension reform.
They said they decided to call off their action as the bill they opposed was passed in Parliament on Sunday. The union also said that auctions planned for Wednesday will proceed.
